About the farmer
The Moreira and Alckmin families have a long history of coffee farming in Southern Minas Gerais, Brazil, spanning over five generations. They now operate under the name M&A Coffees, managing farms in the Mantiqueira de Minas region, known for producing high-quality coffee. Their farms cultivate over 600 hectares of arabica coffee, specializing in natural, washed, and fermented specialty coffees rated between 80 and 90 points on the SCA scale.
